Lincoln Nathaniel Kelly, age 57, of North Wilkesboro, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Atrium Health-Wake Forest Baptist-Wilkes Medical Center. He was born June 26, 1965 in Wilkes County to Lincoln Leander and Barbara Ferguson Kelly. Lincoln was a member of Mt. Valley Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father; daughter, Drema Lanika Kelly; grandparents, Lincoln and Francis Kelly; brother, John Thomas Kelly; and special mother, Margie Dotson.
Surviving is his wife, Rita Martin Kelly; son, Marcus Martin of Georgia; his mother, Barbara Ferguson Kelly McVay of Wilkesboro; siblings, Leander Ferguson and spouse Lucy of North Wilkesboro, Thomas Welborn of Wilkesboro, Elizabeth Carter and spouse Tony of Virginia, Judith Kelly of Wilkesboro, Anita Turner and spouse James of Wilkesboro, Barbara Taylor, Chris Hamilton, Doris Sturdivant, Leona Kelly all of Charlotte; aunts, Carline Horton of Lenoir, Jeanette Lomeli of Wilkesboro; uncles, Nathaniel Kelly and spouse Angie of Huntersville, Joseph Ferguson and spouse Liza of Wilkesboro, Arthur Ferguson and spouse Elizabeth of Rock Creek; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. October 30, 2022 at Miller Funeral Chapel with Pastor Casey Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Scenic Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Miller Funeral Service from 1:00 until 3:00 on Sunday, prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted. Miller Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
