Orin Thomas Harless, age 30, of Purlear, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024. He was born January 17, 1994, to Thomas Garfield Harless and Tomme Ann Harless. Orin was employed with the Logger Shop as a diesel mechanic. He was a member of Baptist Home Baptist Church. He absolutely loved and adored Maggie, who was his bride and the love of his life. Orin was looking forward to spending the rest of his life with her. He was adored by his little brother, Blaize, and his three nephews, Charleston, Augustus, and Archibald. Orin loved motorcycles and was a mechanic that could fix anything. Orin enjoyed doing farm chores. He loved fishing, the view of the mountains, bonfires, and camping with his dogs. Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Moses Garfield, and Georgia Barnes Harless.
Those left to cherish her memories are his bride, Maggie Walker of Hays; his mother, Tomme Ann Harless of Creston; his father, Thomas Garfield Harless and spouse Katrina Critcher Harless of Purlear; parents of the bride, Randy and Terri Walker of Winston Salem; sisters, Olivia Harless Jolliff and spouse Grant of Greensboro, Oriana Harless of New Jersey; little sister, Alexa Myers of Albemarle; little brother, Blaize Myers of Locust; brother, Francisco Luna of Creston; sister of the bride, Cassie Jones and spouse Blake of Mississippi and their daughter, Aubrey Jones of Mississippi; step-sisters, Angie Navy and spouse Steve of Waxhaw, Mandy Myers of Albemarle; half-sister, Tammy Harless of Wilkesboro; nephews, Charleston Eller, Augustus Eller and Archibald Jolliff all of Greensboro.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The family request no food. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the Food Distribution Ministry at Baptist Home Baptist Church, 2367 Sparta Road, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.
