Robert Earl Dawson, age 52, of Hays, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Atrium Health-Wilkes Medical Center. He was born June 18, 1971 in Carteret County to Wesley Allen Dawson, Sr. and Martha Marie Caudill Dawson. Robert was a hard worker, loved his family, NASCAR and full of life. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Annette Johnson.
He is survived by his spouse, Angela Dawson; son, Shawn Dawson of Hays, Dustin Dawson of Boomer; daughter, Samantha Mash of Wilkesboro; grandchildren, Zoey Dawson and Aiden Dawson both of Boomer, James Church of Wilkesboro, Stella Dawson of Boomer; brother, Wesley Dawson of North Wilkesboro; sister, Joanie Clonch and spouse Chris of Hays; numerous nieces and nephews.
